6 Strange (but True) Weight Loss Tips
It
seems that there's a new crazy diet introduced every day. Most of them
don't work, but these weird (but true) weight loss tips just might help
you lose those last few pounds.
1. Drink warm water

Most
of us prefer drinking cold water over the warm varietal, but if you're
looking to lose weight, you might want to rethink your beverage
temperature.
If you can't fathom warm water, try adding an herbal tea bag to give it a little flavor.
2. Watch Less TV
Most
of us know that we eat more (and consume more calories) if we eat our
meals while we are distracted (watching TV, on the computer, reading,
etc.). But this idea of watching TV goes beyond watching while eating.
Watching less TV in general helps you lose weight...because you burn
more calories!
You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching TV so...read, go for a walk or go to bed instead of watching TV for hours on end.

3. Don't Eat in PJ's
This is a depressing one for me as I'm the kind of person who changes into "comfy" the minute I walk in the door.
Studies have shown that we eat and snack more if we're wearing loose (and elastic!) clothes.
My compromise? Choose tighter clothing (like leggings, yoga pants and tank tops) so that you can be comfortable but still feel your waist.
4. Eat More Bacteria
Bacteria
plays a big role in our metabolism and appetite, so some think that by
increasing the amount of probiotic-rich foods you eat (aka bacteria)
you'll be able to lose weight without cutting calories.
The only research is anecdotal so far and while I'm a huge proponent of good bacteria balance, I'm not sure it will help you lose weight.
5. Add Some Spice

Recent studies have shown that when you consume foods that are spicy, specifically cayenne pepper, your metabolism increases.
After the pepper was consumed, less calories were taken in at the next meal and its also been shown to slow the growth of fat cells.
It's time to start adding more spice!
6. Drink Wine

Obviously,
I saved the best for last! For reasons that researches don't completely
understand, women who drink one or two glasses of wine a day put on
fewer pounds than those who don't.
Those who sipped wine, took in fewer calories but be sure you don't go over two glasses (servings really, which is 5 oz) or you'll inevitably take in more calories than you want.

World's tallest female dog Morgan passes away

Owned by Dave and Cathy Payne, of Ontario, Canada, the Great Dane weighed in at 90.7-kg (200-lb) and would eat seven cups of dry food (kibble) and two cups of wet food every day.

Morgan was the third dog to hold the record of ‘Tallest Female Dog’ since the category began in 2012. She beat the previous record holder, Bella, by 3.22cm (1.25 in).
The gentle giant first appeared in the ‘Stop Press’ section of the Guinness World Records 2014 book before appearing in the 60th anniversary edition which was released in September. Morgan is pictured alongside Zeus who is the tallest dog ever with a height of 1.118 m (44 in) and was measured in October 20011. Zeus sadly passed away in September.

According to Morgan’s owner, Cathy Payne, Morgan had a mild-mannered nature, except when it comes to squirrels, which she loves to chase!
Morgan is said to have died from a heart attack on Wednesday.
Michael Whitty, Picture Editor at Guinness World Records said: “I had the great pleasure of meeting Morgan and her lovely owners David & Cathy when we organised for her to meet Zeus (the Tallest Male Dog) for a photo shoot. Morgan was so very sweet and good natured, even when surrounded by swarms of hugely excited local kids, and a natural in front of the camera. I’m very sad to hear of her passing. ”
'Barcelona wouldn't buy a fat man' - Tabarez hits back over Suarez fitness fears

The veteran Uruguay coach says the suspended striker is still at his peak and selected him for next week's friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Oman
Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez has hit out at suggestions that Luiz Suarez is overweight by insisting Barcelona wouldn't "buy a fat player".
The Barca striker is finally set to make his Liga debut later in October following a four-month ban for biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini at this year’s World Cup.
He was also hit with eight-match suspension from competitive internationals but was named in the Uruguay squad for next week’s friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Oman by Tabarez.
The South American nation's trainer swatted aside criticism over Suarez's fitness fears and insisted that the ex-Liverpool striker still has a major role to play for his country.
"I cannot imagine that a club like Barcelona would buy a fat player,” Tabarez, who has just extended his contract through to the 2018 World Cup, told reporters.
"He is in his best footballing years and, beyond his mistakes, he has everything needed to succeed.
"I believe it is important for Luis Suarez to keep in contact and training with the national team despite the ban, not only for him but for the national team overall and his team-mates.
"We have to see the things positively, because given his circumstances he could be given a ban reduction.
"Eventually at some point of the World Cup qualifying campaign we will have a fantastic addition to the national side in Suarez and we should look at it from that point of view."
